These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LoveFix application and website (together, the “Service”), operated by LoveFix Ltd (“LoveFix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales (registered address: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy.
1. About the Service
LoveFix is an AI-powered platform that helps individuals and couples navigate relationship challenges through private chat sessions, personalised insights, and session summaries. The Service uses third-party AI service providers to process your messages and generate guidance.
Important: The Service Is Not Therapy
LoveFix is not therapy, counselling, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional advice. The Service is an AI-powered self-help and relationship guidance tool. It does not provide diagnoses, treatment plans, or clinical interventions.
- AI-generated responses are based on your inputs and general patterns. They may contain errors and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or effective.
- The Service does not create a therapist-client, doctor-patient, or any other professional-client relationship.
- You should not rely on the Service as a substitute for professional therapy, counselling, or medical advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or relationship emergency, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.
- Crisis resources: If you are in immediate danger or experiencing thoughts of self-harm, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline (e.g., 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the US; 116 123 Samaritans in the UK).
2. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must be at least 13 years old. In jurisdictions where a higher minimum age is required for consent to AI data processing (e.g., 16 in certain EU member states), the applicable higher age applies.
By using the Service, you represent that you meet the applicable minimum age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
3. AI Processing and Consent
3.1 How AI Works in the Service
Your session messages are transmitted to third-party AI service providers to generate responses, insights, and session summaries. No direct personal identifiers (such as your name or email address) are sent to these providers.
3.2 Consent
Before your first AI-powered interaction, you will be asked to provide explicit consent to the processing of your session messages by third-party AI providers. You may decline, in which case AI-powered features will not be available to you.
3.3 Withdrawal of Consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time through the Settings section of the app or by contacting support@lovefix.app. Withdrawal will prevent you from using AI-powered features going forward but does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred prior to withdrawal.
3.4 AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
All guidance, insights, and summaries generated by the Service are produced by AI. They are provided for informational and self-reflection purposes only and should not be treated as professional advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for your specific situation.
3.5 AI Improvement
We may use de-identified and aggregated data from sessions to improve our AI models and develop enhanced features, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may opt out of this by emailing support@lovefix.app with the subject line “AI Training Opt-Out.”
4. User Conduct
You agree to use the Service responsibly and lawfully. You must not:
- Upload or share harmful, illegal, abusive, or harassing content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, interfere with, or disrupt the Service.
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
- Misrepresent your identity or invite a partner to the Service without their knowledge and consent.
- Use the Service to generate content that infringes third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms.
5. Partnership Features
The Service allows you to link your account with a partner for shared sessions. Partnership features require mutual consent. When you establish a partnership:
- Your partner may access shared session summaries and partnership-related features.
- Your individual session messages remain private unless you choose to share them.
- Either partner may end the partnership at any time.
- Ending a partnership or deleting your account will terminate the partnership link.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
6.1 Subscription Plans
We offer subscription plans that provide access to AI-powered features. Current plans, pricing, and included features are displayed within the Service and on our website. Plans, pricing, and features may change; we will provide notice of material changes.
6.2 Free Access
New users may receive a limited number of free sessions. No payment information is required for free sessions.
6.3 Billing
- Mobile (iOS/Android): Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by those platforms. Their respective terms of service and refund policies apply.
- Web: Subscriptions purchased on our website are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your payment card details.
6.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- Apple App Store / Google Play: Through your device’s subscription management settings.
- Web subscriptions: Through your account settings or by contacting support@lovefix.app.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access until then.
6.5 Refunds
- Apple App Store / Google Play purchases: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
- Web purchases: You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase, provided you have not used paid features beyond the free allowance. Contact support@lovefix.app. After the 14-day period, refunds are not available except as required by applicable law.
- Your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law (including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015) are not affected by these Terms.
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service (e.g., session messages). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content as necessary to provide the Service, including transmitting it to third-party AI providers for generating responses.
De-identified and aggregated data derived from your content may be used for AI improvement purposes as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to your right to opt out.
8. Intellectual Property
We own all rights in the Service, including our software, AI models, branding, and content templates. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service.
9. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time:
- In-app: Through the account settings within the Service.
- By email: By contacting support@lovefix.app.
Upon deletion:
- Your account will be deactivated immediately.
- All personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
- Any active partnership will be ended.
- Please cancel any active subscription through your app store or payment provider before requesting deletion, as we cannot process refunds for app store purchases.

10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Without limiting the foregoing:
- We do not warrant that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your situation.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- We are not liable for any relationship outcomes arising from use of the Service.
- Third-party services (including app store platforms and payment processors) are governed by their own terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, emotional distress, or loss of opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law (including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015) are not affected.
12. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless LoveFix and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, losses, or damages arising from: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your misuse of the Service; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights. This clause does not apply to the extent that the claim arises from our own negligence or breach.
13. Affiliate Programme
We may offer an affiliate programme allowing third parties to promote the Service. Participation requires a separate agreement. Affiliates must not misrepresent the Service, use spam or deceptive practices, or violate applicable advertising disclosure laws. We reserve the right to terminate affiliate arrangements at any time.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the Service or by email. The “Effective Date” at the top indicates when the Terms were last updated. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree with updated Terms, you may stop using the Service and delete your account.
16. General
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
- Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and LoveFix regarding the Service.
- Force majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- No waiver: Our failure to enforce a right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
- Assignment: We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale. You may not assign your rights under these Terms.
