Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of LoveFix.app (the “Service”), operated by LoveFix (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy, which is available at [link to Privacy Policy]. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Privacy Policy.
1. Introduction
The Service is an AI-powered platform designed to help individuals and couples address relationship challenges through private chats, personalized insights, and shared action plans. It facilitates solo or joint sessions where users can discuss issues separately or together, with AI generating Personal Briefs and Common Ground plans. The Service emphasizes privacy and is not a substitute for professional therapy or medical advice.
We are committed to user safety and quality. Conversations may be anonymized and reviewed by licensed psychologists or psychiatrists for quality assurance. Our AI development team may access anonymized conversations under the supervision of such professionals. For topics involving harm or suicide, safety protocols may activate, allowing our team to contact you via phone and review the conversation to provide support or recommend professional help. In cases of urgency where a psychologist is not immediately available, any member of our team may access the conversation to ensure timely intervention.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).
- Provide accurate information during registration, including a valid email address and mobile phone number for verification.
- Upon account verification via mobile phone or email, you will receive 2 session tokens, each granting access to 1 session (solo or together).
Accounts are personal and non-transferable, except as provided in Section 5 regarding partnerships. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
Sessions can be conducted solo or with a partner. To invite a partner, you must use the in-app partnership feature, which requires mutual consent.
3. Description of Services
The Service includes:
- Private, encrypted chats for solo or joint discussions.
- AI-generated insights, Personal Briefs, and Common Ground action plans.
- Unlimited sessions under your subscription plan, subject to fair usage quotas (22 sessions per month for Essential; 47 sessions per month for Thrive). We may grant additional grace sessions at our discretion.
- Session credits/tokens: Each credit allows 1 session (solo or together). Credits are not deducted if you are within your fair usage quota under an active subscription; they are only used if you exceed the quota.
The Service is available 24/7, subject to maintenance or downtime. We may introduce new features or modify existing ones.
Important Limitations:
- LoveFix is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment. It is an AI tool for self-reflection and relationship support.
- AI outputs are based on user inputs and general patterns; they may contain errors and are not guaranteed to be accurate or effective.
- For safety, if conversations involve harm, suicide, or similar topics, automated guardrails may trigger. This could include anonymized review by a licensed psychologist, psychiatrist, or counselor to assess urgency and suggest professional services. In such cases, our team may contact you via the phone number provided during registration. If a licensed professional is not immediately available, any team member may access the conversation due to the urgency.
- The Service is not for emergencies. If you are in crisis, contact emergency services or a hotline (e.g., National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988 in the US).
4. User Conduct and Responsibilities
You agree to use the Service responsibly and lawfully. Prohibited actions include:
- Uploading or sharing harmful, illegal, or harassing content.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the Service.
- Using the Service for commercial purposes without our written consent.
- Misrepresenting your identity or inviting partners without their consent.
You own your user-generated content (e.g., chat inputs), but grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it for providing the Service, including AI analysis and anonymized quality reviews. Anonymized data may be used to improve the AI under professional supervision.
If you establish a partnership (e.g., linking accounts with a spouse or partner), you grant them access to your subscription benefits. The partner can use sessions under your plan without consuming their own credits, unless exceeding fair usage quotas.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
We offer two subscription plans:
- Essential Plan: 9.99 per month, providing unlimited sessions subject to a fair usage quota of 22 sessions per month (plus potential grace sessions at our discretion).
- Thrive Plan: 19.99 per month, providing unlimited sessions subject to a fair usage quota of 47 sessions per month (plus potential grace sessions at our discretion).
Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless canceled. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime via your account settings. Amounts set in local currency USD, EUR, CHF and GBP or in USD as default.
Session Credits:
- Credits can be purchased separately or earned (e.g., the initial 2 tokens on verification).
- Each credit grants 1 session.
- If you have an active subscription, credits are not used until you exceed your plan’s fair usage quota.
- Sessions can be solo or shared with a partner.
Payments:
- Processed via RevenueCat, which utilizes Stripe as the underlying payment provider.
- We do not store your credit card details; they are securely handled and stored by the payment provider.
- All payments are in USD, EUR, CHF and GBP and include applicable taxes.
- Failed payments may result in suspension of access until resolved.
Free Trials and Tokens:
- New users receive up to 2 session tokens upon verification.
- No credit card is required for initial use or tokens.
Cancellations and Refunds:
- Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: You may request a full refund within 14 days of subscription start if the initial free session credits (tokens) have not been used. No refunds for partial months, used credits, or sessions beyond this period, except as required by law.
- If you exceed fair usage, additional charges may apply for extra sessions via credits.
We may change pricing with advance notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
6. Privacy and Data Security
Your privacy is paramount. We use bank-level encryption for all data. Chats are private and not shared between partners unless explicitly joined.
- Anonymized Reviews: Conversations may be anonymized (removing personal identifiers) and reviewed by licensed psychologists/psychiatrists for quality. Our AI team may access these under supervision to improve the Service.
- Safety Protocols: For harm/suicide topics, we may review and contact you via phone. This is for your safety and complies with legal obligations. In urgent cases, any team member may access if a licensed professional is unavailable.
- Data Usage: We use data only for service delivery, improvements, and compliance. No selling of personal data.
- Retention: Chats are stored as long as your account is active; you can request deletion.
- Data Export: Users have the right to export their data (e.g., chat histories). If in-app export options are not yet available, you may request an export by emailing us at lovefixai@gmail.com, and we will provide it in a secure format.
- GDPR Compliance (for EU/International Users): If you are in the EU or other regions subject to GDPR or similar laws, we process personal data as a controller. You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing. We comply with GDPR requirements, including lawful bases for processing (e.g., consent or legitimate interests) and data protection impact assessments. We do not engage in automated decision-making that produces legal effects.
- Export Restrictions: The Service complies with U.S. export laws and is not available in embargoed countries or to restricted parties.

7. Intellectual Property
We own all rights to the Service, including AI models, generated content templates, and branding. You are granted a limited, revocable license for personal use. Do not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service.
8. Affiliate Program
We may offer an affiliate program allowing third parties to promote the Service in exchange for commissions on referrals. Participation requires a separate agreement outlining specific commission rates, terms, and sign-up process, and compliance with these Terms. Affiliates must not misrepresent the Service, use spam, or violate laws (e.g., FTC disclosure rules). We reserve the right to terminate affiliate status at any time.
9. Termination and Suspension
You may delete your account anytime, which will end access and delete data (subject to retention for legal reasons).
We may suspend or terminate for:
- Violations of these Terms.
- Non-payment.
- Safety concerns.
Upon termination, unused credits or subscriptions are forfeited. Sections surviving termination include disclaimers, liability, and indemnification.
10. Disclaimers and Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. We disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.
- AI insights are not professional advice; outcomes are not guaranteed.
- We are not liable for relationship issues arising from use.
- Third-party services (e.g., payment providers) are not under our control.
A licensed psychologist, psychiatrist, or counselor may review conversations (with guardrails) to suggest therapy urgency, but this does not make the Service therapy.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including emotional distress or lost data.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, including violations of these Terms or harm to others.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under AAA rules, rather than in court. No class actions are permitted. Arbitration will occur in Delaware.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of changes, and continued use means acceptance.
15. Miscellaneous
- Severability: If any provision is invalid, the rest remain in effect.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the full agreement.
- Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays due to events beyond our control.
- No Waiver: Failure to enforce a right does not waive it.
